Upon entering our office, our receptionist will welcome you as a member of our family. We will request that you complete our patient forms which are also available to download in the New Patient Center. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your condition.
Next, you will have a consultation with Dr. Douglas Catoggio to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for Dr. Catoggio to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how treatment care can meet your goals.
After your consultation we will perform an examination testing your muscles, Joints, and flexibility. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well. However, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
Diagnostic Studies if Necessary
Depending on your specific condition, we may recommend certain diagnostic testing to help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you, and alert us of any serious spinal, nerve or muscular conditions.
Report of Findings
Once the information is collected and examinations are performed, we will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions including:
- How can you help me?
- How often do I need to come in and how long will it take?
- What will my treatment consist of and will my insurance cover it?
After reviewing your health history, goals, and examining your condition we will discuss recommendations and notify you if your condition can be treated within our facility and/or requires care with other providers. Dr. Catoggio will provide the best treatment and recommendations he can without wasting your precious time or his. Most cases can achieve relief in a short period of time.
